Russian "raid" of March 2021

From Puucraft Wiki
How 16 or more players, mostly new users, and possibly all being Russian speakers, were online (excluding Mixarium, who took the screenshot). Captured on March 25th, 2021.

Between middle and end of March 2021, the first signs of an influx of players, who were mostly Russian speakers, were observed. This wave of new users would die out by the end of April 2021.

The motive[edit | edit source]

It mainly started from a TikTok post, made by ZackNuiton. There was some slight evidence of him having over 25k-45k followers on that platform. He made posts about the Puucraft server, which led to his fans entering the server. Things got more evident on March 25th, when several users were complaining that they couldn't speak Russian in global chat, because of the rule of speaking only English.

A few days later, ZackNuiton's TikTok post would be deleted, although players still joined the server, because of other people who heard the news about Puucraft and mentioning it.

Consequences[edit | edit source]

During the so-called raid, several towns would experience an upsurge in griefs, made by those players. Only very few remained on the server, like twoy_papa, who plays on the server even today.
