== Etymology ==
The origin of the name can be dated as far as October 2nd, 2018, but this was referenced as a joke, as an antonym to [[Eastdown (Map 9)|Eastdown]]. It wouldn't be until August 27th, 2022, when the actual town of Westup is founded.
